My name is Scott Quilter and I am currently posted in a full time position as a Senior ICT Technician for a local Secondary Academy. I have had a keen interest in I.T and Consumer Technology from a very young age. I studied I.T at College and University and I keep up to date with all the latest Technological Developments including I.T, TV Setups, Audio Setups, Media Networking, Games Consoles etc.
I have found over the years that people use their PC’s, Laptop’s, Mac’s and Mobile Phones for nearly everything in normal day to day life and the usage of these devices is growing day by day, yet most still know very little about their machines true potential.
I have met a high majority of customers that “Make Do” with what they have; if it’s a laptop that takes 10 minutes to “warm up”, programs that just no longer work or even they’ve cracked the screen on their phone and can’t afford the £100 their phone provider has quoted for a repair.
What I have found is the majority of these problems are easily fixable but people are far too cautious to approach a specialist to get the issue resolved due to high costs and friends/families that have had bad experiences.
